Hey, my name is Aamina. Creativity has been an outlet for me for as long as I can remember. My childhood bedroom was a space of creative retreat and the four green walls of that room housed and nurtured my imagination throughout my youth. Little did I know, that simple choice of colour was responsible for so much of my creative intuition. When I came to learn of the impact of green on creative development, all the pieces came together and I’d never been more grateful for such a questionable choice of wallpaper and carpet. Like all the best decisions in life, my journey into Graphic Design began as a spontaneous one and I’ve come to learn how rewarding it is as a practice. As an individual whose creativity can’t be confined, I found Graphic Design encompassed so many different artistic aspects and has given me the ability to evoke emotion and experience through my work. Branding in particular has granted me harmony between creative autonomy and observing guidelines.

Hi, my name is Anisha. I'm a Norwegian designer currently based in Manchester. I tend to work very conceptual and enjoy the process of decoding and learning about unfamiliar subject areas. I always believe that you can get inspiration from anything and anywhere. As I am bilingual, I like learning and understanding about different cultures. In my recent projects, I have looked into cross culture communication and understanding. I don't have a specific format I work in, but I do enjoy typography, photography, art direction and print. In the future, I wish to be able to work in a studio or with a brand, accommodating them in creating innovative and tailored designs that can have a positive impact on the client and audience. As well as, learn and further refine my skill set and better my work and myself as a designer.

I love getting my hands dirty and using printing methods such as screen printing to create beautiful, unexpected outcomes. I enjoy using playful colours and type in my work to create eye-catching statement pieces that make a big impact. I believe its super important as designers and visual communicators that we use our voices to make a difference, so love projects that have a strong social purpose or are community orientated.
